Info:

🌟 Welcome to the Duniway Fall After-School Soccer Program! ⚽🍂
We’re excited to bring a season of fun, skill-building, and teamwork to Duniway Elementary with West Coast Soccer Academy (WCSA)! Our programs focus on developing confidence on the ball, building friendships, and creating a love for the game in a supportive environment.

📅 Program Details:

This program is open to students in grades K–5 and will be split into K–2nd and 3rd–5th groups for age-appropriate play. Sessions will take place on Mondays from October 6 through December 8. Class dates include October 6, 13, 20, 27; November 3, 10, 17; and December 1 and 8. There will be no class on November 24.

Each session runs from 2:20 PM to 3:30 PM. Students will be walked directly from their classrooms to soccer class, where they will be met by 2–3 WCSA coaches.

Skills We Focus On:

For K–2nd grade players, the focus will be on ball control, teamwork, and shooting, taught through fun, engaging activities.

For 3rd–5th grade players, we’ll build on dribbling and passing, teamwork, shooting, focus and following directions, and game strategy, including an introduction to soccer formations and team tactics.

Throughout the season, students will also build confidence, practice sportsmanship, and enjoy the game in a supportive environment.

Our Approach:

At WCSA, we believe soccer is about more than just the game—it’s about growth, connection, and fun. Our approach is teacher-organized, encouraging and inclusive, and always focused on fun over competition.

We can’t wait to get moving, learn new skills, and have a great time on the field this fall at Duniway Elementary! ⚽🎉
