Program Overview

At the end of the school day, our coaches will pick students up directly from their classrooms at 2:20 PM. Soccer runs until 3:30 PM, and after practice, students will be loaded onto the buses provided by Durham Elementary so they can head home safely.

We’ll split players into groups by grade level:

1st–2nd Grade

3rd–5th Grade

Our approach is teacher-led, positive, and focused on building both soccer skills and life skills like teamwork, confidence, and resilience—all while having fun!

September: 18th, 25th

October: 2nd, 9th, 16th, 30th (no class 10/23)

November: 6th, 13th, 20th

⚽ What Students Will Learn

K–2nd Grade Focus

Ball Control – Learning to dribble and maneuver the ball

Teamwork – Sharing the ball and learning to play together

Shooting – Practicing accuracy and power through fun games

3rd–5th Grade Focus

Dribbling & Passing – Building stronger ball control and technique

Teamwork – Working together through small-sided games

Shooting – Improving form, accuracy, and power

Focus & Following Directions – Strengthening listening and attention skills

Game Strategy – Intro to soccer formations and simple team tactics
