Info:

Welcome to the Tigard-Tualatin School District Fall After-School Soccer Program!

We’re excited to bring another fun and engaging season of soccer with West Coast Soccer Academy (WCSA)! Our programs are designed to build skills, confidence, teamwork, and resilience while making sure every child has fun on the field.

📅 Program Details:
The program runs on Tuesdays after school from 2:20–3:30 PM with a total of 9 sessions. Dates are September 30; October 7, 14, 21, and 28; November 4 and 18; and December 2 and 9. There will be no class on November 11 due to the holiday and no class on November 25 due to conferences.

This program is open to K–5th grade students. All players will be walked directly from their classrooms to the soccer field, where our 2–3 staff coaches will lead each session. Pick-up is at the field promptly at 3:30 PM.

To ensure age-appropriate learning, students will be grouped into K–2nd and 3rd–5th grade groups, where they’ll receive personalized coaching and instruction.

Skills We Focus On:
For K–2nd graders, the focus will be on ball control and dribbling basics, teamwork and sharing the ball, practicing accurate and powerful shots, and listening skills to build teamwork and confidence.

For 3rd–5th graders, we’ll emphasize dribbling and passing to improve technique, teamwork and communication on the field, shooting with form, accuracy, and strength, and game awareness through learning positions and simple team strategy.

Our Approach:
At WCSA, our coaching style is teacher-organized and student-centered, encouraging and inclusive, and focused on fun over competition. Soccer is more than just a sport—it’s a way to grow skills for both the game and for life.
